Spare an Extra £1 Each Week?
The beginning of a new year is a good time to review your giving to the parish.  The parish receives no support financially from other bodies and the only income it receives is through your Sunday contribution and rent it receives from properties owned by the parish.  Perhaps you could consider adding an extra £1 each week if you are able?

Offertory and Figures
Mass attendance: 50 + 64 + 124 = 238. Offertory Contribution £399.70 + £288.63  = £688.33  Many thanks.

Weekday Mass
Attendance at weekday Mass isn’t compulsory but it is a good way to centre each day on God and can be a good excuse to get up and get on with the day.  Try and develop a routine of attending daily Mass either in the parish or elsewhere in the city.  Refreshments are served in the parish on Wednesday and Thursday each week and they are good way to socialise and meet other parishioners.
I knew of a man who said attending daily Mass saved his life - his absence was noted and he was found at home very poorly.  He said if he had not been a daily Mass goer, no one would have noticed his predicament. Why not think about making it a commitment during Lent?

Ash Wednesday Masses

Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, will be observed on Wednesday 6th March.  Mass with imposition of Ashes will be celebrated at 10.00 am at St. Margaret Mary and 11.40 am at Christ the King.
